When you are feeling overwhelmed, it is easy to forget just how far you have come. You have made some tough decisions; you have already made it over-around- or through many obstacles that stood in your way. You have faced up to challenges.
It is hard to move forward if you find yourself stuck in a cycle of worry, fear and unwanted thoughts. Replace your fear with gratitude for all that is good in your life, however small you think that might be. Focus on what you have achieved; on what you appreciate and allow yourself to feel excited about the challenges ahead rather than being overwhelmed by them.
Do not be afraid to fully embrace the good times rather than being fearful that something “bad” only you see as inevitable, is about to happen.
